This unique LODGE is an authentic hand-hewn log structure of the 1911 homestead ranch. Inside is crafted Western decor with abundant Western artifacts! A.P. Ranch nourishes its guests with scrumptious meals and exceptional baked goodies, derived from authentic chuckwagon and ranch recipes. Eating is a real delight! Each guest is taught the fundamentals and safety of horseback riding by our experienced, knowledgeable and humorous wranglers! A.P. Guest Ranch is surrounded by impressive fishing lakes, and thousands of acres of rolling terrain for picturesque trail riding and summer/winter sports! Pack trips are another specialty of A.P. Ranch, guided by the owner himself, who readily shares with guests his many years of horsemanship and training. Many memorable experiences happen around the evening campfire where the "stories of the day" abound and capture the hearts of young and old! Bar BQ dinners of abundant portions preface the many barn dances during the summer and fall months. With the scent of fresh hay, and frequent live bands, guests dance long hours in the new barn to country-western music. A unique experience in itself! With the multi-talented family and ranch-hands running the Ranch, demonstrations in rope twirling, trick shooting, and leather tooling are commonplace! Time spent at A.P. Ranch is also an educational adventure, where knowledge and expertise is shared about all facets of horsemanship -- horseshoeing, grooming, and training! A.P.
