The railing detail on the Grand Staircase is a reproduction of a Raymond Sudes design for the Radio Hotel in Paris, built in the 1930's. The rail design is repeated in the mosaic tile at the front desk, fireplace and breakfast bar area. Other details include a lighted glass block inset on the stair wall and room defining curved glass walls are adjacent to classical doric columns. The crystal chandelier and wall scones echo the Deco design era. Hotel features include free local phone calls and a complimentary Express Start continental breakfast.
