A classy, true wilderness Lodge since 1974, with elegant log guest cabins, nestled in a virgin spruce forest beside a pristine cove in Afognak Island State Park. Excellent fresh/saltwater fishing (salmon, trout, halibut, bass, ling-cod, etc.) with outstanding and abundant land/sea wildlife viewing (Kodiak Brown Bear, elk, deer, whales, sea-lion, seal, sea-otter, fox, beaver, eagles, auklets, etc.) If you are going to be an "Alaska-holic", this is one place to do it right. $700/day includes all meals, lodging & guides; any-day arrival, no minimum stay, floatplane access, international references.
