Fish species or types are walleye (pickerel), muskie, small and large mouth bass, crappie, sunfish, bluegill, perch, catfish, panfish. Boat rentals are available at the lowest rates on Rice Lake. 9.9 hp. Johnson and Mercury motors, 14 ft. aluminum and 15 ft. fiberglass boats, as well as a 20' pontoon boat. 40 hp 4 stroke quiet motors.

The cottages have fridge, stove, microwave, TV, 3 piece bathroom with shower, sundeck with gas BBQ. Inground swimming pool, small beach, canoe, paddleboat, . horseshoe pit and volleyball court/basketball net. Fish cleaning and freezing facilities on site Tam-Bir Cottages is a member of Resorts Ontario and the Rice Lake Tourist Association.
