Housekeeping Cabins
Description:
The site of Shangri-la was selected by Ed Reynolds in 1936 and the camp was opened after World War II. Shangri-lacontinues to be operated by the Reynolds family.

We have large three and four room cottages compete with one or two bedrooms, private bathroom and deck. They are supplied with all linens, cookware and kitchen facilities.

The area surrounding Shangri-la remains in its natural state and is the home of all types of wildlife. The lake affords ready access to 65,000 miles of shoreline which offers lots of fishing, birdwatching, driftwood gathering, Indian artifact hunting, native rock painting, canoe, motor boat and sailing opportunities.

We provide parking and complete hookup for our guests with motor homes or campers.

Boats, motors and guides are available. You can catch award size walleye, muskellunge, northern pike, crappie, perch, lake trout, and small and large mouth bass.
