Carpenter Lake Cabins is situated in the rugged and beautiful Algoma Highlands of Ontario. We are a one-day drive from major centres including Toronto, Detroit and Chicago. You can enjoy clean modern cabins or large private campsites with good access to the surrounding wilderness area. Guests experience world-class fishing for brook trout and lake trout in a dozen nearby lakes and streams where we have boats (see map). Fishing is normally best in May, June and September and an all-inclusive fishing special is available.

In addition to fishing, other activities vary with the season and include swimming, canoeing, hiking and ATV riding in the summer. In autumn you can hunt for small game, deer and moose or enjoy the changing forest colours. We are situated on a groomed snowmobile trail and are open from mid to late February with warm, serviced cabins. The resort has a store, bait, outboard motor rentals, tractor-service to remote lakes and a sauna. We accept cash, VISA and MasterCard.
