Located in the out port community of Pollard's Point in Southern White Bay, 30 minutes off the Trans Canada Highway, the Carousel Resort consists of:

• Carousel Inn - rooms and efficiency units, all with private bathrooms.
• River Sea Motel - 9 housekeeping suites and 6 rooms, plus laundromat, docking facilities and boat launch, express passenger service (small fee) from the highway or aiport, separate living, cooking and bathrooms. Licenced lounge.
• River Sea RV Park - fully serviced and semi serviced sites, with picnic tables, barbecues, convenience store, dock and boat launch, playground and unsupervised swimming area, church, licensed dining, coin laundry, post office, gas station, auto garage.

Activities include fishing, hiking, kayaking, bird watching, canoeing, berry picking, day trips (by boat), mountain biking, snowmobiling. At Gross Morne Park there is a 3 hour boat trip to the isolated community of Harbour Deep plus wildlife outings, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobile tours, Cat Arm (Hydro Project), boating, icebergs, whale watching and Main River (one of top 10 wild rivers in Canada).
