The spacious 4000 foot character log farmhouse has a turn of the century interior with leaded glass windows, antique light fixtures, and casual collectable furnishings. You will feel you have stepped back in time.

A spacious kitchen, large dining area, a great room with a huge river rock fireplace and vaulted ceilings add to the charm, while a wide expanse of glass windows reveal an uninterrupted view of the ocean and islands below.

A large deck wraps around the front of the house, and is great for outside entertaining, watching the boats go by, or relaxing in the hot tub under the stars.

Listen to the baa of a lamb, or the brae of the donkey, while you enjoy the farm fresh eggs, and jams and jellies of this gorgeous self-catered farm-stay.

Salt Spring Island has a full hospital, library, many shops and two fully-stocked grocery stores, a liquor store, gas station and 3 banking institutions. Also a movie theatre and two video outlets. It is famous for its Saturday markets. It is connected to the mainland and Vancouver Island by a ferry service and float plane service. It also has a taxi and bus service. A marina offers kayak rentals and fishing charters.
