This is an Environmentally Friendly Bed & Breakfast!

Alberta Rocky Mountain High Bed & Breakfast, is located in the alpine community of Canmore, Alberta, just minutes from Banff National Park.

We can help you select the choice places to see wildlife, hike, mountain bike, ski, bird watch, sight-see, and to photograph!

A magnificent panorama of the Bow Valley's famous Three Sisters Mountains and Mount Rundle can be seen from the guest entrance.

This exceptionally clean bed and breakfast is inspected, approved and licensed for 4 guests.

We have free wireless high speed internet for our guests!

From our B & B, you will go on day trips to see snow-capped mountains, thundering waterfalls, hot springs, turquoise lakes, towering forests, craggy peaks, the Columbia Icefield, trickling brooks, hoodoos, echoing canyons, the Continental Divide, and other Canadian images such as Mounties, railroads, mountain culture museums, and chateau-style hotels.

Mountain Avens Room: Choice of King size bed or Twin beds. Private ensuite bathroom.

Grotto Mountain Room: A Spacious Room with a mahogany two-poster Queen Size Bed and ensuite bathroom.

Room rates are in Canadian dollars.

Rates include a delicious breakfast with home made bread. There is no tax and no additional charge.

Rate per room: October 1 to May 31: $100.00 to $120.00
Rate per room: June 1 to September 30: $120.00 to $150.00

Rate for 2 Bedroom Suite: October 1 to May 31: $200.00 to $240.00
Rate for 2 Bedroom Suite: June 1 to September 30: $240.00 to $300.00

Cancellation Policy - Full charges if cancelled 14 days or fewer before arrival date. Discretion will be used if the room is rebooked.

Driving Directions to Alberta Rocky Mountain High B&B from Banff

From Banff, take the Trans Canada (highway #1), and head East toward Calgary (and Canmore).
You will leave Banff National Park
Turn Right at Exit Number 89. The sign says CANMORE TOWN CENTRE.
Turn left at the lights and go over the Trans Canada Highway.
You are now on Benchlands Trail. Follow Benchlands Trail 1.3 kilometers. Stay in the right hand lane that opens up at the top of the hill.
Turn right on Elk Run Blvd. You will drive over a creek.
Turn right at the next street called Lady MacDonald Drive.
Turn right on Grotto Road.
The 4th house on the right is #546 Grotto Road!
Please park on the driveway and flagstones to the right or to the left of the garage door.

Driving Directions to Alberta Rocky Mountain High B&B from the Calgary International Airport

Leave the airport and turn left at the first set of lights. You will be on Barlow Trail going north.
Go North on Barlow Trail to the third set of lights (about 10 blocks)
Turn left (west) on Country Hills Blvd. Follow Country Hills (you will continue straight through major intersections such as Harvest Hills, Beddington Trail, Shaganappi and Nose Hill Drive).
It takes about 30 minutes to drive from the airport to the Trans Canada Highway (Highway #1)**
Turn left on Stony Trail which is the next major left after Nose Hill Drive. Continue south on Stoney Trail, the first set of lights is Crowchild Trail. Keep going straight (south), cross over the Bow river. The next intersection is the Trans Canada Highway (#1).
Turn right on the Trans Canada Highway (it takes about 30 minutes from the airport to the Trans Canada Highway at this point).
Drive West for one hour. This gets you to Canmore.
Turn Right at Exit at Number 91. The sign says 1A CANMORE.
Turn left onto Hwy 1A (east).
Drive 400 meters and turn left on Elk Run Blvd.
Drive 1 kilometer and turn left at the SECOND Lady MacDonald Drive.
Turn right on Grotto Road.
The 4th house on the right is #546 Grotto Road!
